Dori Carlson OD '89 has been named the third recipient of the Kamelia Massih Prize for a Distinguished Optometrist. She received the award May 18, 2013, at �鶹ֱ��'s �鶹ֱ�� Commencement ceremony.

The Spirit Mountain Community Fund in Oregon has awarded �鶹ֱ��'s EyeClinic Cornelius a capital grant of $30,000 to help build out a new clinic within the Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center's new Wellness Center in Cornelius.

A group of Japanese optometrists are saying “arigatou” to �鶹ֱ�� with gifts for the College of Optometry.

�鶹ֱ�� has named alumnus Stanley J. Yamane '65, OD '66, the 2012 recipient of the University's Kamelia Massih Prize for a Distinguished Optometrist.

Award honors an outstanding optometry alumnus or alumna for care in serving both patients and communities.

Endowment will fund the Kamelia Massih Prize for a Distinguished Optometrist.
