Raz is a Ph.D. candidate in Vision Science and an international student from Iran. She Â鶹ֱ²¥d with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Optometry from Iran and came to the United States to further her education. Raz has been a vegetarian for over 15 years and believes that all animals have the right to live without fear or danger. She advocates for promoting plant-based food options as a way to respect these rights while also caring for the Earth and fostering a deeper connection with nature. She is enthusiastic about participating in research, developing educational materials, and helping to organize events that encourage others to adopt a plant-based lifestyle. For her, working with the Center for a Sustainable Society (CSS) is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to express gratitude for the chance to make life easier for others while also contributing to the well-being of our planet.
